All South has been awarded the construction management and onsite monitoring services through CPRA for the TE-0165 Terrebonne Houma Navigation Canal project. This important coastal project was engineered by All South and recently successfully bid and awarded to the contractor. The project will restore over 30 acres of habitat for brown pelicans and other nesting bird species in the Houma Navigation Canal on an island that has severely eroded over time, creating a tremendous loss of vital habitat. The project will involve offshore sediment being hauled onto the island and placed within a restored rock perimeter dike. This project will create a sustainable island with breakwater protection features to sustain the longevity of the island and of the nesting birds for years to come. The island will feature multiple habitat types with natural features designed to integrate into the bird habitats over time.

All South is proud to be a part of CPRA’s coastal restoration efforts and looks forward to another successful project.
